You were a glorious sight with splendid fluttering wings.
Too brief was your stay,
but we were blessed to have you pass our way.
I am changed forever and will never be the same.
Your days were full and overflowing,
leaving all around you more alive and glowing,
but alas the winds are ever blowing.
Chakaluka, too ethereal and beautiful were you,
this truth the angels knew,
they longed to once again be with you,
