Sweet Jingle Pine,
I am so thankful you are mine.
I think about you all the time.
For whenever you are upon my twinkling tree,
I am in the midst of friends and family.
The time between the last pine needle on the floor,
and the holiday guests once again knocking at the door,
seems quite brief, and for this I thank you, I do believe.
For in the spring, summer and autumn months,
I still gaze upon you happily,
in my mind’s eye you will always be,
and there I dreamily recount past Christmas memories,
and wait for the first crisp day and falling leaf,
to plan out this year’s holiday meals and activities,
