Wee Forest Folk® is a small family business that delights in producing a line of miniatures - most of which are mice.
Annette Petersen crafted her first little critter many years ago. Since then her children have learned the ways of the mice and have created their own! Each is a casting of an original piece sculpted by either Annette, Willy, or Donna Petersen.
Annette's first mice were made of bread dough, which didn't last very long (nibbled by the real thing, of course!). Now, we have much more sophisticated methods of molding which add strength and durability to every piece.
Meticulous painting brings each one of the sculptures to life. Our talented artists have been carefully selected for their delicate hand skills. An enormous amount of time and patience is invested in producing our line. Everyone involved takes personal pride in assuring the quality of each piece as it progresses through the many steps along the way to completion. Wee Forest Folk® sculptures are created, produced, and copyrighted by the Petersen family since 1972 and are made entirely in Carlisle, Massachusetts, USA.
For every 5 pieces of Wee Forest Folk you purchase, receive a 50% Discount on the 6th piece:
•6th Wee Forest Folk Piece's retail price must not be greater than one of the first 5 pieces. If so, then the discount will only be up to 50% of the highest price of one of the first 5 pieces.
•The 6th Wee Forest Folk piece will never be discounted more than 50%.
•The 5/6 Discount Club starts over every 6 Wee Forest Folk pieces.
•This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, or specials. Please call the shop to use the 5/6 discount.
Shipping/handling charges will be applied to 1/2 item unless ordered with a full-price item.
Wee Forest Folk is hand-made and hand-painted and part of the glazing and decorating process of any ceramics are the bubbles, pinholes, stray paintbrush hairs, etc. that give the pieces some character. There will always be some measure of variation between items, even items that are the same SKU - much different than a mass-produced item in a different material that might all look “perfect”.
*Wee Forest Folk is handpainted. We can not specify certain paint styles. If you have a preference for a specific painted style, please request a photo of the actual item. All returns will be at the cost of the buyer (excludes items damaged during shipping).
