Lil Ginger’s dad Snap was dancing when he met Lil Ginger’s mom,
after many moons of slow dances and last songs,
he proposed to her one snowy morning at dawn.
Like her namesake our red cheeked girl’s dance card is always full.
When she hears music her body sways and she feels the pull.
She is often found dancing in the limbs of a tree,
her waltzes, sambas and fox trots are all sights to see.
This dark eyed sugary girl is no wall flower,
she changes her dance partner’s at least every quarter hour.
While she delights with her Polka, Charleston and Two Step,
watching her Tango leaves you with only one regret,
soon the band will be playing their final set.
No one has so much sparkle or creates the same twirls.
Our Lil Ginger is a magical gingerbread girl.
