Nibble-Nut Farm Fudge by Wee Forest Folk

A FairyTales Exclusive
SKU: TS-04

What is sweeter than a little mouse dressed in a lavender and white pin-striped dress and apron holding a silver spoon? A jar of homemade fudge with a lable of chocolate covered strawberries and green & white checkered lid, of course.

Year issued: 2011
Sculpture by Donna Petersen

Wee Forest Folk® is a small family business which delights in producing a line of miniatures - most of which are mice.

Annette Petersen crafted her first little critter many years ago. Since then her children have learned the ways of the mice and have created their own! Each is a casting of an original piece sculpted by either Annette, Willy or Donna Petersen.

Annette's first mice were made of bread dough, which didn't last very long (nibbled by the real thing, of course!). Now, we have much more sophisticated methods of molding which add strength and durability to every piece.

Meticulous painting brings each one of the sculptures to life. Our talented artists have been carefully selected for their delicate hand skills. An enormous amount of time and patience is invested in producing our line. Everyone involved takes personal pride in assuring the quality of each piece as it progresses through the many steps along the way to completion. Wee Forest Folk® sculptures are created, produced and copyrighted by the Petersen family since 1972 and are made entirely in Carlisle, Massachusetts, USA.
