“The Waddle” a 15”x 15”x 2” piece with a perfect waddle of penguins that Houston designed and sketched circa 2017 on the flight to Breckenridge not long after we became a family of 3!

Fun fact: a group of penguins is actually called a waddle

Materials: Glass, copper

Measurements: 15”x 15”x 2”

Houston Llew is an enameling artist of his own distinctive genre specializing in glass on copper artworks known as Spiritiles. In his kiln-hot Atlanta studio, each tile is made by hand using ground glass that is painted, then kiln-fired to copper and enveloped around a solid frame. Every Spiritile has its own story wrapped around the sides to match the iconic and inspiring moments drawn from life. These pieces are best enjoyed together in a collection that reflects your unique style and story. They are made to be gifted, collected, and treasured for years to come. Welcome to the family!
