As one of eight charter franchises, the White Sox were established in 1900. Guaranteed Rate Field located in Chicago s South Side is their current home. The White Sox won their first World Series in 1906, the team was dubbed the Hitless Wonders . The Sox have appeared in five World Series with three wins.
